10-day Eid Break Announced For Schools

The Higher Education Department of Punjab has announced Eid-ul-Fitr holidays for government and private colleges (Eid Break),According to this, all colleges will remain closed from March 28 to April 2, meaning students and teachers will get 6 days of leave.

On the other hand, the School Education Department has announced 10-day Eid holidays for schools across Punjab.

Schools will remain closed from March 28 to April 6, however, teachers will come to schools on April 4 to declare the exam results.

Good news has also come for government employees, the Sindh government has announced a public holiday on April 4, after which government offices will remain closed from March 29 to April 6, thus employees will get 8 days of leave.

The decision comes a day after former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto was posthumously awarded the “Nishan-e-Pakistan”. According to the Meteorological Department, Eid-ul-Fitr is likely to fall on Monday, March 3,1, in Pakistan.
