Pakistan Rejects Indian Minister’s Provocative Remarks

Pakistan has strongly rejected the recent provocative remarks made by the Indian External Affairs Minister. Foreign Office Spokesperson Tahir Andrabi said that Pakistan dismisses the Indian minister’s comments as baseless, irresponsible, and highly inflammatory.

He stated that Pakistan is a responsible state, and all its national institutions — including the armed forces — are key pillars of national security, fully committed to safeguarding the country’s sovereignty and regional integrity.

According to the Foreign Office, the tensions of May 2025 clearly demonstrated the professionalism of Pakistan’s armed forces and their strong yet responsible defensive posture in the face of Indian aggression. No propaganda can distort this reality.

The spokesperson further said that India’s attempts to malign Pakistan’s state institutions and leadership are part of a systematic campaign aimed at diverting global attention from its own destabilizing activities in the region and its state-sponsored terrorism inside Pakistan. Such provocative narratives reflect India’s disregard for peace and stability in the region.

He added that instead of making baseless statements about Pakistan’s armed forces, India should introspect on its own violent Hindutva ideology, which has normalized extrajudicial killings, mob violence, arbitrary arrests, and the demolition of places of worship. The Indian state and its leadership have become hostage to this extremist mindset.

The Foreign Office reaffirmed that Pakistan believes in peaceful coexistence, dialogue, and diplomacy but remains fully united and determined to protect its national interests and sovereignty.
