Security forces are conducting a comprehensive and courageous operation against three militants hiding inside Wana Cadet College in South Waziristan. The operation will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated.

According to security sources, around 650 people — including 525 cadets — were safely evacuated from the college during the attack. All students and staff members have been rescued and moved to safe locations, while the operation has now entered its final phase.

Sources revealed that the three militants inside the college are of Afghan origin and were receiving instructions via telephone from across the border. They are hiding in a building located far from the cadets’ hostels. The clearance of the building is being carried out with great caution to ensure the cadets’ safety.

It is worth mentioning that on November 10, the attackers rammed an explosives-laden vehicle into the college’s main gate, destroying it and damaging nearby structures. Security forces immediately responded and neutralized two of the militants on the spot.

Security officials stated that attacking innocent tribal children has nothing to do with Islam or the prosperity of Pakistan. The operation will continue until the last terrorist is eliminated.
