In gun battles with militants in different areas of Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa bordering Afghanistan, at least 23 terrorists were killed and seven Pakistani soldiers were injured. The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported that seven military officers and soldiers were martyred in the operations against terrorists.
The ISPR also stated that a total of 23 militants had been killed in the last two days during intelligence-based operations on their hideouts in KP.”The first operation was. A third operation was carried out in the Bagh area of Khyber district.

The operations led to the recovery of a substantial cache of arms and ammunition from the slain terrorists who were involved in attacks on security forces and innocent civilians, as stated by the ISPR. Currently, a clearance operation is underway to root out the remaining terrorists in the area. The security forces reaffirm their unwavering commitment to eradicating terrorism and state that the sacrifices of our youth strengthen our resolve.
