According to the administration, Section 144 has been imposed across the province for one month, banning public gatherings. Heavy police deployment has been arranged throughout the city to prevent any untoward incident. Road closures have caused severe inconvenience to citizens, especially students traveling to schools and colleges, and major roads are facing traffic jams.

Several students reported being unable to reach their educational institutions, disrupting their classes. The suspension of mobile and internet services has also affected daily communications. Security forces have been put on high alert, and citizens have been urged to avoid unnecessary travel.

Meanwhile, PTI leadership has made it clear that they will proceed with the rally at the Hockey Ground. The rally is being organized to uphold the supremacy of the Constitution and restore democratic rights, and the party intends to follow through with its plans despite the administration’s restrictions.
