Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in Balochistan’s district of Kalat, eliminating 12 Indian-backed terrorists belonging to the group Fitna-tul-Hindustan. According to the ISPR, the operation was carried out on December 6 after credible information was received regarding the presence of the terrorists. The forces successfully traced and targeted their hideout.
During the intense exchange of fire, all 12 terrorists were killed, while a large cache of weapons, ammunition and explosive materials was recovered from their possession. The ISPR stated that the security forces would continue their mission against terrorist networks with full determination under the vision of “Azm-e-Istehkam.”
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif praised the security forces for the successful operation in Kalat, noting that under Azm-e-Istehkam, the forces were achieving significant successes in the fight against terrorism. He added that the entire nation stands firmly with the Pakistan Armed Forces and remains united against extremism.
President Asif Ali Zardari also commended the security forces for eliminating 12 terrorists linked to the Indian proxy network in Kalat. He said that the State of Pakistan has full capability to neutralize all enemies of peace, and the nation’s resolve will defeat every conspiracy of Fitna-tul-Hindustan.
